Our Services / The great things we do

We tailor our services to meet our clients’ needs.

Often (but not always) the fundamental requirement is to drive sales. That may require the use of a variety of different marketing techniques in a combination which is unique to the particular client and market, delivered in a manner consistent with the brand and producing defined results within an agreed budget and timescale.

We offer a wide range of services that can be broadly divided into four areas – PR and advertising, online, strategic and creative. But we don’t think (or work) in ‘silos’. Our clients expect – and receive – cross-functional, multi-disciplinary marketing campaigns that deliver real results.

We have all seen the recent demise of high street shops, yet in difficult times online shops are thriving. Buying on the internet gives the consumer discounts that they cannot get in the high street and so is becoming more and more popular every year. Ecommerce websites also give the seller the opportunity to service a wider audience then they would on a high street. We see this as a win win situation.

Many people ask us what is web development and how is it different from web design? Basically web design is the art of creating the look and feel for a website. However web development is more comprehensive than that and includes developing applications to help make your website more interactive.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or as we like to call it Website Optimization is the name for the techniques used to get your website ranked high up on the list of search results for search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. These search engines score websites on a number of factors and it is important to know what these are and what you can do to get a good score and so rank higher.

To appear on the first page of search results for search engines like Google for the keywords or key phrases that best suit your business can be time consuming and difficult to achieve. It is important to have an idea of where you want to be and to know what needs to be done to get there. This is where we come in.

Keyword Analysis – Copywriting – Website Optimisation – Off Website Optimisation – Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Programs – Regular Updates

A Content Management System (or CMS for short) is a web based system that enables you to change the content on your site, whenever you want. The advantage of having a CMS is that you do not need to have any coding experience to change the content on your website. In the long run this will save you money and time as you do not have to wait for a web developer to make simple content changes.

At DUBUB each CMS we produce is custom built for each client. This makes the system really easy-to-use, and means that you don’t have to take a degree to learn how to update your site (as you do with open-source systems). Many people will ask us just how easy is our CMS and we will say very easy. In fact it is as simple as typing your changes on the screen, like you would in word and then clicking “Update”. It could not be simpler and we pride ourselves on being able to get anyone up and running on our CMS in no more than 2 hours.

Another advantage to our CMs is that it takes the SEO of your website into account. It will allow you to edit the Title tags, Meta tags and image Alt tags on your website. This means you can ensure your website is fully optimised for the search engines and adapt your site as your campaign develops.

Website Design, is the process of creating the graphic design of each part of the website, and turning that into code (HTML/CSS) that is suitable for the internet. However those finishing touches that turn a good webpage into a fantastic website take skill, experience and extensive knowledge of good website design practices. At DUBUB, we manually create the code for each website, trying to use as few images as possible to keep the loading times down.

A large number of website designers just use a program like Dreamweaver to create the code.

If you are in the process of getting your website done, then it is likely you will need other forms of marketing material or business stationary.
